    heckuva job...I'm not complaining (much - LOL) but he got a fair amount of help from that ump calling his near miss outside balls for strikes...but that's all part of the game and he deserved the win.

    MLB needs to enter the modern age and embrace replay in the WS. The umps killed some potential rallies last night. It's a long game already, I'll gladly wait five minutes for these nimrods to get it right.

    Curious to see which Hamels shows up in Game 3, and if the Yankee bats I watched all season will awaken.

    Game 3 is a must for both teams of course. Yet for the Yanks, a potential Cliff Lee sighting (even on unprecedented short rest) in Game 4 spells a virtually assured offensive shutdown.

    he pitched very well last night, it was fun to watch him and pedro go at it. one guy throwing hard with a lot of movement and the other getting people out on smarts, fun game

    I agree. Besides, it's not like reviewing the replay should take that long. As TV viewers we are able to see the review and make a decision pretty quickly. The longest aspect of the review would be waiting for the umpires to walk to a monitor.

    Just no instant replay on balls and strikes . . .

    Unless the evil empire goes to a 4 man rotation, you will see a different Burnett in game 5 when he's on the road.
