Anybody else having this Paypal problem???

Morning,
This started about a month ago and I don't know exactly what to do. To make a long story short, each day when I get home from work I look at my e-mails and print out all the You've been paid/have money, ect. e-mails from PayPal. I then use these to pack the cards either sold from my auctions or Store sales and send the next day. After they are packaged I double check with the E-mails and if it is done the E-mails are deleted and I consider all said and done. (This is my system and if I am doing something wrong please tell me, it has worked since we went to the Paypal only thing with about 3000 transactions paid this way without missing a single one)
In the last month I have had 5 instances now where somebody contacted me and said where are my cards? After checking I find them still on my "Sold not Paid for Shelf". After checking I see that they indeed have been paid through PayPal but I have no memory of seeing the Paypal e-mails. Now I know I am getting old and maybe could explain 1........maybe....Nah, but I did not miss 5, no way. When this happens I refund all moneys and send the cards for free. This has now cost me $65.00 and I am getting tired of it.
Any help...Ideas?
Thanks
Neil

Don't rely on emails from Paypal. In the past they have been days late etc. I have also noticed that when you get an echeck that has to clear you don't get a follow up email, it only states cleared in Paypal and on ebay. I use the same system you do, but from the Paypal site itself, or ebay if I've had no sales here.

Try doing it from the Paypal site and archive each one as you pack it up. If it isn't on the Paypal site, then you didn't get paid. Email is unreliable.

It's happened to me a couple times. No emails. Found out when I logged into Paypal and the "print shipping label" button is there next to the payment.

Was happening to me as well - had to do with the email spam filter. Unfortunately, sometimes even though I didn't change the settings, the settings somehow changed. Just a guess but may have had something to do with the way the email system changes to combat spammers, and the PayPal emails sometimes get diagnosed as spam.

You might want to "work" from your MyEbay Selling Manager. Everything that is paid for by PayPal is moved into an Awaiting Shipment folder. If somebody pays by Echeck it will stay in the Awaiting Payment folder until it clears. While you're there you can also mark the items shipped and leave feedback. An invoice or packing slip can be printed there as well.

It is always safest to ship using the info seen on the PayPal site.

The MyEBAY panel is a very good guide, but is not always reliable.
Its weakest point is the payment info.
