The misses was converted to the Eagles years ago, but refused to give up her allegiance to the Yankees. It's a family thing for her, having been born in North Jersey and moving to South Florida at a young age.
The war has begun, with the first battles beginning right after the Phils won the NLCS. I like the Yanks too but had to cut those ties when the Phils made it to the Series.
This could get nasty. As we say in Philly she's got the "attytood."
She's got all the gear and more. A pair of Yankees Reeboks arrived by UPS today. I even bought her a Jeter signed piece from Lelands a few years ago that was part of the Charlie Sheen Collection.
It's not all bad. We take sports trips together. Can't ask for much more than that.
If I mysteriously disappear please alert the authorities.

Agreed, but she does have periodic lapses in judgment. Hey she married me!
I admire her insistence on remaining a Yankees fan. At least she has been there and has some connection to the area. More than can be said for some fans.
