The price for a RCR at a show compared to full slabbing is very minimal, another downside is if the card was treated irresponsibly after being graded (ie put in a pocket, remember it's just in a card saver) it can create wrinkles on the card that WILL affect the grade, yes they can give it a 6 when they slab it. That said the lower grade potential is highly exaggerated (people will say they may just change the grade if it was over graded), the only issue that really changes is if it is physically harmed. And the cardsaver slice jobs are very good, seasoned card collectors have been burned...
