Here are my Detroit papers from the 35' and 45' World Series along with a 2 page section on Ruth when he died. Looking for a 68' Detroit News or Free Press paper if you have it.

I am probably not alone on wanting to see pictures of the rest of that room ... nice newpapers. (what about the bat ?
and yes, the 1968 win has to be one of the sweetest in our lifetime ... Denny McLain, Mickey Lolich, Norm Cash, Mickey Stanley, Bill Freehan, Al Kaline, Willie Horton and Ray Oyler who batted a mere .135 as a starter.
They beat a great St. Louis team in the WS.
TheHun - The bat is an old Adirondack Tigers Mini Bat...I picked that up last year along with 2 other Mickey Cochrane mini bats from the 30's.
Here's a couple other items I have on display.
Here are some unique hand stitched artwork on cloth of the 35' Tigers that were made during the summer of 35' by someone. They are among my favorite items in my collection.
Here is my set of 68' Tigers individually signed baseballs (including a Cash signed ball which I have in a separate ball display)
Here are a few more newspapers that are autographed...I just recently framed these and they are now hanging up in the basement with the others.
