Mays cards-Crack'em or leave them? your opinion

Most of the graded cards I own are from PSA, however these two cards went through Beckett. Should I crack and send to PSA or leave them? Also, if cracked are these grades close? The '52 dots are brought out more by the scanner and is not that bad. Thanks guys.

Unless you're working on a registry set, I'd leve them alone. It's not likely they'll get a bump.

The nice thing about Beckett holders is that they could probably wistand a low yield nuclear blast. You could also beat someone to death with one.

I suspect PSA would grade them both lower.

    Maybe, a bunch lower.

I think I would leave them where they are.

Crack the 52, leave the 53.

    Nice cards image

I wouldn't bother cracking and resubbing unless selling, but I think the 52 would go down by a grade with PSA. Might be better as is. Same could hold true for the 53.

    Hi Doug,

I'd keep them as they are!

  • Thanks guys, I do appreciate the advice. I'm leaning towards leaving them the way they are from your responses. How sweet would it have been to pull that '52 out of a pack with that centering back in the day? Oh, to only dream. Take care. Doug

I might take a shot with the 52 if it's not creased.

No creases CJ, the surface is pretty nice. If I ever were to crack one it definitely would be the '52 but I'm going to hold off for now.
