For my money, he's the real goat of the 86 series. He let the tying run score. The Red Sox were already dogs when Buckner booted the grounder. Why was he still in the game anyway? What was McNamara thinking? Oh well, it has only been 23 years. I'll get over it when a little more time has passed.
