historically interesting because of its ties to Colonial America. William III halfpennies are arguably the first British coins to come over to the Colonies in significant numbers. Even if its retail value isn't super high, it's still a coin from the Pirate Era, and a genuine artifact of the reign of the King for whom Colonial Williamsburg is named
