My Brother and I used to watch those old HR Derbies on reruns, and then emulate it at the ball field. Those were the days!

i also found out they used the old wrigley field in los angeles for the derby
That was cool seeing the old and sometimes forgotten ball park live ,
Im just used to the pictures and postcards

They have it out on the 3 dvd series. It is every HR match.

ESPN (or 2 or Classic or whatever) used to show it regularly in the early 90s, and I loved it. I really wanted to put together the set, but the reruns drove up demand and thus prices. Just classic television...

I've always been curious as to whether there are any baseball video games that will let you do a home run derby using those original rules (nine innings, three outs an inning, called strikes counted as outs). Obviously finding one that does the current rules is no problem, but I think that'd be sweet if you could use the original rules.
