"And with the first pick the Tennessee Titans pick"

OMG>>>>> WTF... How can a Fisher coached team lay down like that. I'm not sure I've ever seen a team completely collapse like this. Oh well..what QB will they pick out of next years draft?? Not that QB is the cause of all their problems, but they don't have a QB for the future. I sit there every week and watch Young on the sidelines showing no interest in the game, listening to his Ipod and talking to girls in the stands. He is a ROCK. That wonderlic test score of 6 was no fluke. Hes not the future.
Bad times in Nashville. Oh well.

I'm firmly convinced that the Rams are worse than either the Titans or Bucs. Well, definitely the Titans and probably the Bucs.

Missouri got their first pro football win today. Hooray for Missouri.

Do you all dare to presume Detroit is somehow out of this thing? As proven last year, this team is still capable of losing 15 games this year. These other teams are fairly new at this. For the Lions, losing is old hat. Give them time. They will show you this is more thn a three team race. After all, they did lose 26-0 themselves yesterday. image

  • Poor Tim Tebow, he will make a lot of money but probably won't enjoy his job that much.

I still cannot see him being the first pick at all. I'm not even sure he gets picked in the first round. But if other guys continue to get hurt, one never knows. Especially if the Lions are drafting near the top. Maybe we'll start to stockpile high pick QB's now that drafting WR's like that didn't work out. We've already grabbed two first day QB's in the last few years, so we have a good start at it.

Anywho, I'll be shocked if Tebow ends up being anything other than a TE or possibly a FB in the NFL. Again, it depends on how he performs at the combine and who drafts him. Don't misunderstand me. I think the kid has heart, plays hard and has great tools. I just don't think he's QB material for the NFL.

I just don't see Tebow's talent set -- considerable as it is at the college level -- translating to the NFL as a QB. I'm not convinced he'd even be a first rounder, and it wouldn't surprise me if the team that drafts him wants him to play another position.

I guess I think the defenses, particularly the linebacking, at the NFL level would seriously limit the effectiveness of Tebow's game.

Tebow was projected as a 5th or 6th round pick last year. Hasn't done anything this year to change that opinion. If anything, the concussion lowered his stock.
  • Tebow will do just fine in the NFL. He has the inner drive to continue to improve himself, and that will serve him well in the NFL. One reason people sometimes talk about Tebow not being NFL ready is they believe his passing ability is not very strong; however that is not the case. It is understandable why some people might think that because for whatever reason Dan Mullen & now Steve Adazzio don't call many passing plays but when they do Tebow delivers. Tebow will be an asset for any team that picks him (I hope it's The Jags). John Gruden went on record a few months back saying how successful Tebow would be in the NFL and unless there's something I don't know he's got more Super bowl rings than anyone posting here. I fully admit to being a Gator/Tebow homer and I am aware my post in this thread won't change anyone who already has their mind made up but take a clear look at what this guy brings to the table & you'll see he has a bright future in front of him in the NFL.

All of Grudens love wont change the fact he wont be drafted before the 4th round. He is a project at best and a team that needs a starter immediately won't be drafting him.

Tim Tebow is more athletically gifted than Joe Kapp... TB should draft him... I'd like to see him excel. I bet he does better than the following:
      Jemarcus Russell
        Andre Ware
          Alex Smith
            Art Schleister

Insert about 100 more after this...
            Enjoy your collection!

If you ever get a chance to spend 5 or 20 minutes with Tim Tebow, you'll be a better person

I sure hope my Ram's don't get the first pick. It seems to be a negative to get the first pick. 2nd or 3rd is better.

I still think the Raider's can lose the rest of their games too. There are several teams in the hunt.

No chance Tebow gets taken the first round. I doubt the first day. He's a nice college story.
