Shot at a 10?

My first inclination is no given the small fish eye in the bottom right corner, but thought I'd get a few other opinions on whether I should crack and resub. This is a card I'd love to have in a 10, and they just don't come around very often. Thoughts?

  • If the fisheye was inside the white border and not the black, I would say yes. As is, I would say it is in the best holder you could hope for.

Ya, I bet that fish eye is going to keep it out of a 10 holder.

Dan ... personally, I think that the fisheye in the black border is just too much of a distraction for a "PSA 10". However, I am sure that there are "10s" out there with the same print defect. (Maybe not that same card, but probably others.)

I think the snow keeps it in combo with the fisheye. is this one on ebay (footballdan or something)? He had 2 top notch 9's I was eyeballing for a possible crack and upgrade to 10.

if i was wanting this in a 10, i'd pay the $10 to crack/resub based on the centering before paying the psa 10 price if/when one becomes available.

downside, it comes back an 8 or EOT....

you can specifiy min grade of 9, but it may not make it back in that holder with that restriction.

good luck, i would like to have that card in a 9. image

    Thanks,

I never realized how much Earl and Dononvan McNabb look alike.

I would leave it as is.

I was the original submitter of that card and i pulled it out of a tray pack years ago. Ive already sent in that card 2x and I dont think they will give it a 10. The snow on the face keeps it in a straight 9.

I think it has a great chance of remaining a 9 as long as you don't crack it out.
