The generosity on these boards never ends. A big thank you to Dan (thunderdan)

I want to give a public thank you to Dan (thunderdan). Without going to deep into it, Dan has been working on something and I have been helping him out with some information from time to time. Well a few weeks ago Dan said he remembered that I was working on the 1972 set, and he had a card that he thought I might need. When he told me that it was a 1972 #433 Johnny Bench in PSA 8, I thanked him for thinking of me, but politely declined saying that it was too big of a gesture. He wouldn't accept that and insisted it was something he wanted to do for the little bit help I was giving him.
For some reason I am not very comfortable with the receiving of these kinds of heartfelt gestures, but I felt to keep refusing would have been an insult to his generosity. So again, thank you very much Dan for this very generous gift.

Nice gesture Dan.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
<< <i>Great card, the centering is just about as good as it gets. >>
I was telling Dan, who subbed this card twice (he got an 8 both times), that the corners are really nice, but the thing that might stop it from 8.5 or even 9 is the T/B centering which is actually 63/37 (although still within tolerance).
Edited to fix my centering calculation.

that's a long card.
<< <i>Great card Nick!! You deserve it!!
That's nice of you to say Shawn, and yes, a big thumbs up to Dan.
