Well, if either of those two teams were in the SEC, they both would be doing well to make a bowl game. I would but Fla, Ala, Aub, Ole Miss, LSU, Geo, Tenn, or S.C. against them. If they played all nine teams listed, they would probably win two. I accidently left out Arkansas.

A big piece of that question will be answered after tomorrow afternoon's game in Dallas.

At this moment, folks better recognize that Iowa could finish the season unbeaten and what will the BCS do with them?

Ohio State has Zero chance at anything BCS.

    Holiday Bowl if they're lucky.

Terrell Pryor has turned out to be a bust so far.

I think Boise has proven they're good enough to beat some bigger teams. I think they could just as easily beat some of the overrated SEC teams like SC, Aub, Ole Miss, Georgia, Arkansas and Tennesse. I wouldn't give them much chance against the top 2 to this point, but then again one never knows when the game actually has to be played on the field.

With that being said, NEITHER will ever have a chance of making the BCS game until things change in FBS.

And Iowa may be the most overrated team in the top 20. They have been so unimpressive in their wins, with the possible exception of PSU. The squeaked by N. Iowa by a point, struggled with Arkansas St and Michigan handed them the game with 5 turnovers. They're lucky to even be sniffing the top 25, although they did look decent today against Wisconsin.

While Slamming Iowa and the Big Ten is this month's flavor of the week, I maintain Iowa is different. I was one of the first to slam Iowa after the first game of the season- this was their wake up call and they seem to be doing what is necessary to win, even if it is not pretty.

I'm a Michigan fan, thus a Big 10 fan. Michigan outplayed Iowa during their game, but killed themselves with TO's. I'm not saying this because I feel Michigan should be ranked higher or something. They played like crap and still should have beaten Iowa, who played like a giant turd. Iowa was also terrible against Arkansas ST for crying outloud. They suck, but so does the Big 10 in general this year.

They might be everything you say and they could lose every game from here on out, but it's still Iowa 30-Michigan 28.

So very true. Moral victories are +1 in the loss column. Michigan gained nothing from the game other than experience. I think you might be misunderstanding where I stand. Iowa is better than Michigan right now. They won and have a better record to boot, so that cannot be argued. You cannot really argue they got outplayed by Michigan for much of the game either. That being said, the only thing that matters is W's and Michigan didn't get it done. But in the end, that doesn't change the fact that Iowa has struggled against two very bad teams and could just as easily be 4-3 instead of 7-0. Barely beating Arkansas St and N. Iowa doesn't bolster their bid for a championship game.

So kudos to Iowa for holding on against all three teams. Not saying anything other than they are overrated IMO and have done nothing to prove they're worthy of a championship game yet.

Iowa is about the only Big Ten team that seams to have the ability to beat SEC teams in bowl games. In the last decade, we have beaten Florida, LSU, and South Carolina.

The SEC has the nasty habit of winning national championships. Three in a row til Bama makes it four in a row.

Michigan has a stellar record against SEC teams, especially in bowl games. They have beaten Florida ('08 and '03), Auburn ('01), Alabama ('00, '88), Miss ('91) all in the last 21 years. In fact, Michigan has done very well against the SEC in football in general. I think their overall record was like 20-5-1 if I recall correctly.
