OT Does anyone love his home office?

I want to put an office in my house. The space I have to work with is about 12x12 or so. I will not be doing a ton of business there. I just need the desk space and my computer. I want it to look really good, though.

If you have a functional home office you like, could you post some pics?

Thanks - Jim

You should email David Letterman, his office seems very comfortable and inviting. image
  • Having had a working home office in the past, I offer these pointers:

    1. Keep it simple. The more you put in there, the harder it will be to find work material - or staying on task.

    2. Opt for items that display easily and preferably on the walls. (avoid desk displays)

    3. Unless your work is your hobby (or visa versa) - have a seperate area for those "collectables".

Good luck and enjoy being close to home in your job.

  • I have never found it productive working at home. Too many distractions.
