  • The Standard Catalog of Football Cards does not note any difference. It will usually give the odds of the two separate if odds are different and note if any inserts where retail or hobby exclusive.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

Same with the Beckett Annual, whereas they typically call out inserts available only in retail or hobby, they do not distinguish.

An old Tuff Stuff also does not distinguish between retail and hobby boxes.

All cards are available in both hobby and retail. Just different odds on inserts.
