So how would a Dodgers-Angels World Series play out across the country?

Would it be a hit only in So.Cal. or would it do well nationally?
It would not be paid much attention to by the general public in No. Cal.
I assume that it would be similar to the Giants-Athletics World Series in 1989. A big hit locally, but not interesting to much of the rest of the country [at least until the earthquake hit].

The East Coast will watch, they just won't tell anybody.

<< <i>I think the Dodgers would still be a good draw nationally. Not sure about the Halos.

I game I don't care about, with a likely START time of 9:37 PM? No way.
I am a So Cal transplant living in No Cal and I would be watching... and rooting for the Dodger's.
It seems that both teams meeting in the World Series WOULD help this as then people would see them and hear their stories, no!?

Do you live in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean?
It's the World Series, and I'm a baseball fan. I'll watch.
as for the interest outside of California? almost zero. FOX is praying for Yankees/Dodgers.
<< <i>I might watch a total of ten minutes of it. >>
I will might watch 11 minutes. I would be happy that the Yankees are eliminated, however.

Looks like its a 7:37pm EST start on Friday. Now you Red Sox fans can enjoy the game without it affecting your beauty sleep.

Yankees a strong favorite and the Phils are a slight dog, so it could very well happen - I'd love to see it.
But frankly if the Phils get there, any junior circuit team will do.
i would watch to see if torre can win another.
collecting RAW Topps baseball cards 1952 Highs to 1972. looking for collector grade (somewhere between psa 4-7 condition). let me know what you have, I'll take it, I want to finish sets, I must have something you can use for trade.
looking for Topps 71-72 hi's-62-53-54-55-59, I have these sets started
<< <i>No way they start a World Series game at 9:30PM ET - that's a recipe for disaster if they want to get any type of east coast ratings. The absolute latest it would start is 9PM....

Why the doom and gloom if it doesn't involve the stupid east coast? there are a lot of people that don't live out there, you know.
