A good safe in the Royal Oaks, Mi. area.

This is a very good safe and is the right size and weight for many folks.

TRTL- 30 x 6

At 750 lbs. it is not to heavy to move with a pallet jack or heavy duty dolly...with help ...
but a couple of punks that should happen to find it will not be carrying it off.

    Are you in the market for a safe or you just browse them? I believe this is the second or third safe you've posted recently. Looks nice.

    Not looking for my self.

    I just like to pass along the info when I see one that is a

    better than average quality safe in any given area.

    Safes at the office stores are junk. I guess you get what you pay for. This looks like a safe safe, however @ over $4,000. It's pretty pricey. I know, I know can't put a price on security.

    Agree...... I would think that an offer of $ 1500 - 2k would not be out of line.

    That safe does not weigh 750 lbs. It says a TRTL 30X6 must weigh at least 750 lbs to get that rating. That safe looks similar in size and rating to some of mine that weigh over 2000lbs. My biggest one is 7 feet tall and weighs almost 6000lbs.

    Foland's went out of business years ago, that safe has probably been sitting for a while. I have acquired some of my safes for free, I just had to pay a safe moving company to move them to my store. Professional safe movers don't come cheap but with the heavy ones it's the only way to go.

    Is right..... I would guess that this safe weighes in around 2500 lbs.

    Is it fire proof?

    Most of these are rated for a minimum of 1 1/2 hours inside < 350 at "home" fire temps. [ dont remember the exact degree].
