I can't believe I was able to pick up Marshall off the waiver wire two weeks ago!
  • Sad thing for Broncos fans is the detractors will still be out in force:

"Brady didn't touch the ball in overtime".

"They'd be 4-1 if not for that fluke catch in game 1"

"Can't put much faith in a team which beat Oakland and Cleveland"

I love the enthusiasm of the Donco coach after the win. Pumping his arm in the air like Eric Lasalle in the intro to ER. It was just cool to see a coach get that excited about an obviously huge game.

I dig the crap out of hoody, but he needs to be a bit more patient while going to midfield to shake the other coaches hand. He went there, looked then left. Yep he was looking over his shoulder while leaving, heading towards the tunnel. Is it beneath him to stand at midfield and look for an ex assistant, so he keeps on moving?

Great game. Ugly uniforms, but I love those throwback socks

    Hey Paul!

Brady pretty much sucked that game...missed many receivers despite the receivers being wide open.

Btady is not the Brady of old...Moss for that matter either. But 5-0 is very impressive no matter who you've played..

Hi Joe! The 'Hawks looked pretty good yesterday, must have been nice to see Hassleback come back and play a great game.

The Broncos' throw back uniforms, including the vertical striped socks bring back the angst and horrors inflicted upon me as a kid growing up in Denver in the 1960s. As ugly uniform worn by horrible teams.

I didn't get to watch the game yesterday, but beating the Patriots in OT is making me wonder if Denver this year (with a new, rookie, head coach and a new quarterback) my have something going on. I read the stats for the game in this morning's paper. Denver appeared to beat the Patriots in most statistical categories.

The Denver defense is apparently pretty darn good. The 17 points allowed in the first half yesterday is the most they have given up all season (43 points allowed after 5 games is excellent). The offense seems to be doing better now than it did the first two games against the Browns and Bengals.

I still do not expect the Broncos to have a great year this year, but if they win convincingly in San Diego next Monday night I will acknowledge that the AFC West crown and a playoff spot are possibilities. Of course last year Denver was 8-4 after week twelve and they imploded going 0-4 the rest of the way to lose the division title and playoff spot to San Diego in week 16.

In recent years Denver has had the upper hand with the Raiders, has continued to have problems with Kansas City (especially at Arrowhead) and has been a toss up with the Chargers.

At least this years team is now 5-0 and providing something interesting to talk about in the early part of this NFL season.
