Lions and Cardinals may be blacked out for their games this weekend

Both teams are around 1,500 short of selling out, my guess is they will both get the NFL 24 hour extension to
sell the remaining tickets.

I'm actually going to PHX this weekend for the Texans game. Buddy said it will be the 1st blackout in 3 years at the new stadium.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

Another benefit to my move far away from Detroit. I get to watch the games when blacked out image

Why aren't the Lions ever mentioned when teams are brought up that could potentially move to L.A.?
  • "Why aren't the Lions ever mentioned when teams are brought up that could potentially move to L.A.?"

The Lions are a long established franchise and the NFL has a certain loyalty to Mr. Ford which is also
why the idea of no more Thanksgiving games for the Lions has gone nowhere.

Another factor is they don't want to tick off GM, Ford or Chrysler who are based in the Detroit area and
have large advertising accounts with the networks that show NFL games.

Because there's a team in Jacksonville, Florida.

Detroit fans are actually very loyal football fans considering what a cr@ppy product they put on the field year after year.

It's mind-boggling how many seats they still sell. Ford Field is a great venue to see a game to maybe that plays into it a bit.
