While I don't know his address, I'm pretty sure he still lives in Houston.

wiki could be right because in hindsight, I was thinking of Robert Reid, not Sampson.

Speaking of Houston, if anyone is near there and wants to go to meet Calvin Murphy at a live radio appearance and pick me up an autograph, I'll buy you a couple of beers for your trouble. I think he's at a local Houston Sports Bar doing the show once/week.

He signed for me years ago as an active player, but I don't know if his habits have changed. I wrote to him in 1989 about two weeks before I went into the Air Force, and I just put my name and Lackland AFB, TX as my return addy. About a month into boot camp I got a cool response with Ralph signing a couple of 88-89 Fleers. It was the sweetest mail I got while in basic training.
