Question on '90 Bowman

I was going through some stuff and ran across a set of '90 Bowmans in a notebook. I had forgotten I owned it until I found it Tuesday. I noticed the cards were all pretty well centered. Is this characteristic of the cards or did someone spend time putting this set together. I didn't put the set together but bought it already assembled in the book in clear pages. I think I paid either $10 or $20 for it back in '90 or '91. It's a nice looking set but no value. Just curious about the cards.
