Got the catalogue this weekend. Paged thru it tonight. Tons of eye candy in it.
Session 1:
icollector.com link
800+ lots of ancients
60+ lots of antiquities
Session 2:
link
300+ lots of gold, including a NGC PR62UC Una & Lion, lot 1020 est $25k - $30k which seems low to me.
600+ lots of crowns + minors. Check out lot 1439 a NGC MS66 Cromwell half crown dated 1658 or lot 1501 a PCGS MS65BN Ireland 1938 penny supposedly the only one in private hands.
Too bad my coin budget for the month is already allocated.

The 1658 half crown is quite the eye candy. Interesting write up on the specimen proof debate.
1658 half crown
Its not too often that you see a piece in an auction that is the only known specimen in private hands.
irish penny 1938
I mean, really
It's just that I got my PCGS grades.
