Game is quite good. One must set aside the fact that these two teams are battling to see which one will be the weakest of 8 playoff teams

However, the winner still has a shot against Mr. May™ and the "Ace" pitcher that turns into a pumpkin in October.
And last year, Reusse said Go-Go was the worst player in the history of the MLB.
Oh well, good luck Twins playing against the Yanks.
<< <i>I best ball game I've seen in quite some time. I was definitely rooting for our Tigers and they should have won the game numerous times.

That was a game FULL of Jams, the Twins got out of runners at the corners no outs or 1 out 2 times, and the Tigers did once. Randy Marsh was a horrible umpire behind the plate, missed alot of calls both ways. There were so many situations that were inches away from changing the outcome... Cuddys sacrifice in the 12th was INCHES from hitting the bag, Tolberts game tying hit in the 11th was INCHES from a game ending double play. Cabrera didnt show ANY baserunning awareness going from 3rd to home when Punto tossed him out (he was basically jogging), that could have been ball game. Porcello was MOWING down Twins batters other than Kubels bomb, he should have NEVER been pulled. That was sick, and man what a back to back Metrodome memory!
We CAN beat the Yankess by the way. Yes they swept us in the regular series, but every dang game was by 1 run except one or 2 games. This squad can do it.
What a way to close down the done, I love it!
Kid, I like your moxie, but the Twins best pitcher (starter) is not good enough to be the Yankees 3rd starter. Slowey being out this year really screwed them. Impressive that they are doing this without their best slugger/RBI guy. I like how Kubel and Cuddy really stepped up!
