Making baseball much more exciting.

In basketball, football and hockey, if you are behind late, you can put the ball or puck in the hands of your best player.

In Baseball, your last out may be made by a creaky, over the hill DH. While your star sits on the bench.

Change the game so that any player may bat at any time. A-roid gets a double in the 9th, put in a pinch runner and let him come to bat again.

I used to be a purist but us old timers got shoved aside long ago. At least this move would be popular with the young folks.

    I don't agree with that much of a change, but I would be in favor of penalizing of walking the best hitter. I would make a rule stating (for any and every player), the first walk of a game, the batter gets to go to first base like normal. The second walk of a game, the batter gets 2 bases, third time he gets 3 bases, etc. That would make the pitching team think twice about walking a hitter.

    Everyone and I mean everyone (players, umps, ball girls, coaches, and even the peanut tossers) plays blindfolded.

    Now THAT would be entertainment.
    So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
