If the mint changes designs?

What would happen to the value of registry sets if the mint desided to change the designs of all the coins that are currently in circulation? Would this cause a frenzy to get more coins graded?
Collector of all proofs 1950 and up plus mint and proof Ikes.

    I don't know, but I wish they'd hurry up and do that! I'm tired of the dead presidents we've had on our coins for decades.
