Anyone else following the Bobby Bowden saga?

It's brutal what's going on up in Tallahassee. It's like high school up there, a whole lot of "he said-she said" going on, family friends asking for him to leave, his wife getting involved......not pretty.

Shame of it is, he is an FSU legend but is being treated like the crazy uncle that nobody wants around.

Agree 100% It's also ripping apart the fanbase. For the upcoming home game vs. Georgia Tech, people in favor of Bowden leaving are planning on showing their protest by wearing black while those in favor of Bowden staying are planning on wearing white. I have a feeling most people will show their feelings with empty silver bleachers....this will probably be the lowest attended FSU game in quite some time (60k range is projected). Funny considering the last game vs. USF was their largest crowd in 5 years (although largely due to 15k USF fans showing up).

You mean FSU does not sell out? Nebraska still sold out even during the sucky Callahan years.

FSU hasn't sold out for quite some time..... The only time they do is when they play an instate team...UF, Miami, USF. Like I said before, the game vs. USF was their largest crowd in 5 seasons and USF had 15,000 fans there. I had a doctor appointment a few days after and the receptionist is a Nole. She said they were sitting in a FSU booster section and there were nearly as many Bulls as Noles in the section.

    This season's PAID attendance:

    Miami 81,077
    Jacksonville St 71,420
    USF 83,524
