Silver also took a big jump. What's going on?

gold seems to have consolidated around $1,000, which is a good thing. the longer people get used to it being over $1,000, the better.

Hummm...went to the Food Town Sunday and it was cash only, no food stamps, credit cards, only cash; thought that was strange as it has never happened before. Gold up almost 20 buks in a couple of hours with silver up 2.5% in the same period, and read the last few pages of Kitco Gold Forum "gold's action" with particular attention to Cyclists post. Pow indeed! Oh, yeah, look at the spike in the DOW after lunch. Cash is king, get 'cha some.

last couple months the stock market and the metals have been going opposite to the dollar. The dollar goes up about .5% and silver will drop 50 cents. Investors are either selling the dollar to buy stocks, or selling stocks to buy the dollar.

Nothing's going on, just the steady and unstoppable climb of PM's.
