Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

<< <i>I remember that year well. Good game right now 1-1 tie in the 5th inning. >>
I know the 2nd game is on ESPN ... I wish this one was as well!

<< <i>And that's only because Detroit got nuclear hot in the last week of the season to avoid losing more games than the 1962 Mets... >>
It could be worse. The 1962 Mets were not NEARLY as bad as the worst team in baseball history, the 1899 Cleveland Spiders. 20-132 record, and finished 84 games behind first!! Not only that, but they lost 40 of their last 41 games of the season, and were disbanded (along with three other NL teams) after that dismal season.

And the "ace" of their staff (term used very lightly) had a record of 4-30!

The Tigers had a .265 winning percentage in 2004. The Detroit Lions, on the other hand, are 31 - 97, for a .242 winning percentage since 2001. Imagine being worse than the equivalent of a 43-119 baseball team for EIGHT SOLID YEARS.
