Kangaroo cud

I got this 1943-I Australian penny in a darkside lot and upon looking closer at it noticed that a series of interconnected die cracks on the kangaroo's nose caused the broken area of the die effected to push up a bit and leave a slightly raised cud on the coin.

That's a nice one, it's not listed in the Australian Pre Decimal Varieties (by Ian McConnelly) book either. If you can find his contact details it would be well worth emailing him this information as I believe he's writing the second edition now.
