Recent Pick Ups For My Pirate Collection *48 Bowman Kiner*

As most of you know I'm a huge Pirate fan ( I know sorry to hear that) Anyway over the last six months I have collected what I think are the best players to ever wear the Bucos uniform. I'm far from over, but these are my two most recent pick ups. Didn't expect to buy a 1948 Bowman Kiner 8, but the price was right.

Very nice group of cards, especially the Kiner ... Sharp Card!

I've never been a Pittsburgh fan, but I had an uncle that lived in Philly. Whenever we visited, he'd tell me funny things that Mr. Kiner said. They were very comparable to Yogi Berra's Yogi-isms in a way. I can remember a few, but thought I'd look them up to make sure I was saying them correctly.

I just bought the Kiner on Wednesday and haven't received it yet. Can't wait to get it.
