1971 Baseball Cello Question

I've seen this seller offering several 1971 cello packs on ebay recently:
1971 Cello Auction
I'm no expert, but it's my understanding that this box is the 1972 cello box, not the 1971. I looked at my 1972 cello,
and the box is coded as 1972, meaning that is the year it was produced. How is it possible for a 1971 Cello Pack
to have a 1972 box? I can see if it were the other way around, but this perplexes me.

so that means it was produced in 1972.
All of the 1971 cellos I have seen come in the box that says "30 Baseball Cards" on the front, I've only seen this box on the '72's.
Again, with Topps anything is possible, I just don't understand it.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
Before all you guys go off an tangent---clearly states in his auction---If you would like to see additional pictures email or call 772-370-8657----
YOU LIE!!!--Sorry, didn't mean to go all racial on ya!!
<< <i>Resealed carp. No gum either, corner folds are a dead giveaway. If they were legit, he'd have sold these long ago to experienced collectors. >>
Plus the edges of the cards in the side pictures are not consistent with each card, should look like an untampered vending box stack of cards.
P.S. Agree with Paul Maul (loved that wacky pack sticker), box is a 1972 box, here's a picture of a 71 box, John

Most likely he manufactures these packs by using 1983 fleer baseball cello wrappers from the "jumbo" rack--which incidently is the wrapper of choice used by counterfeiters to produce '70 thru '72 "jumbo" cellos.
Grote is right, legit '71 bb cellos are very rare and extremely desireable with collectors and every visual aspect of this particular pack reads counterfeit. If I had this many legit '71's I would have them at PSA's doorstep as soon as possible!!
1971 unopened packs are just the sexiest thing alive!!!
I'm sorry but there isnt another years unopened material that makes me go gaga like 71's..

You gotta like a girl that goes gaga over unopened baseball packs.
Edit to add: Apparently the secret is '71s, since the '87 Fleer in my car during high school never got me anywhere!

(1) Those sellers who (feel) their packs are legit but (don't) have the experience and expertise to make this determination.
(2) And those sellers who (know) their packs are legit because they (do) have the experience and expertise to make this determination.
What we as buyers need is a short list of those (honest) raw vintage pack sellers who possess the experience and expertise to determine the validity of a wax, cello or rack.
But always keep in mind that even the best of the best will get fooled every now and then for there are some very sophisticated pack counterfeiters out there!
<< <i>no worries, I will be offering the unopened 75 cellos in a group rip soon as well as another box of 73's...
