Lions blacked out for game against Redskins

No huge surprise, around 10,000 tickets unsold at the deadline. It is the Lions of course and considering how the Redskins played last week this is not exactly an attractive matchup. image

    The way they have played for 2 years, they should back out instead of getting blacked out.

    Detroit wont likely compete, much less win. I liked the idea of starting Stafford early as I thought he was ready. After a few games, it's evident he isn't and Schwartz still just blankly names him the starter over Culpepper. I'm not sure if the Fords have anything to do with this as it sounds like something they would do, but I think Stafford needs to sit for a few games and let Culpepper see if he can bring something to the table. Culpepper looked pretty good in preseason and should get an opportunity IMO. But then again, it's Detroit so fuggit.

    The Redskins suck. This is a very winnable game for Detroit.
