What is " driver " under item specifics when listing on EBAY?

Excuse my ignorance but I have no idea what driver is under item specifics when listing a baseball card for sale
on EBAY. Thanks.

Item specifics - Sports Trading Cards
Original/Reprint: Original Card Attributes: Autograph, Rookie
    Product: Single Sport: Baseball-MLB
    Professionally Graded: No Year/Season: 1997
    Card Manufacturer: Bowman

Where do you see 'driver' Dave?

Not sure I understand your question.

    Good for you.
  • Since a race car driver isn't considered a player, eBay decided to add "driver" to the specs for racing cards etc.

"eBay Item Specifics will transition to seller-controlled Custom Item Specifics. As part of this transition:
Separate breakouts by sport will be created
Custom IS will offer item specifics for Team and Player (or Driver)"

Popps I too thought driver would be under nascar or some other type of race car listing but Dave said baseball card.

  • Hi Steve,

eBay added it to ALL listings under Sports Mem.Cards & Fan Shop regardless of sport.

Saw this as well. The only thing that I took away from it was, "wow, is NASCAR that popular"?
