I have hated the Dolphins since 1982, but is there anything more fun to watch than the Wildcat?
I am buying and trading for RC's of Wilt Chamberlain, George Mikan, Bill Russell, Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, and Bob Cousy!

Watch it now. It's two games in and remember what happened last year.
Eagles eliminate Cowboys, earn playoff berth
McNabb-led Philadelphia embarrasses Dallas, 44-6, to get NFC's last spot

<< <i>IMO, the Wildcat is probably a gimmick that won't last too long once defenses become more experienced and proficient at drawing up ways to stop it. At least at the NFL level; I'll bet some colleges can continue to run it, but eventually the athleticism of NFL defenses will start blowing it up (like the old wishbone). >>
You might be correct-but the wishbone was never run in the NFL on a serious basis. I believe one team (the Colts) fooled around with it with Jack Mildren. The wildcat is just a part of the offense. I believe it can work on a long term basis, particularly in a hurry up offense that does not let the defense get the proper personnel on the field.
Where did the wildcat originate? Arkansas ran it with McFadden-that's the first time I saw it.
