Would have finished this over a year ago, but it took me a long time to find a 1975 in a 9, and I was not going to settle for an 8

    Congrats, always a good feeling to finish a set. I couldn't hold out for the 9. I would have bought the 8, just so the 9 would appear in an auction the next week!!

    RV's set

    He looks so sad on his '76 card. With good reason.

    He and Steve Bartkowski were All Pro caliber QBs playing on generally lousy teams then.

    Was he hurt for the '76 season, he doesn't have a card in '77.

    yep IR all year. The injury was thought to be career threatening. Then he came back and had his best 4 years until Bum Phillips came to town and ran him out.
