They are a shell of their pre 2000 years.
Whoever's got that crystal ball, I can definitely use some lottery numbers for this week And the scores by which the Yanks will lose so I can at least lay some bets down and make some bank off my misery.
Edit: I just hope the Sox beat the Angels in the first round if the match-ups stay that way. I think my boys have a better shot in Fenway. 6-19 or something like that in Anaheim if I'm not mistaken since '02.
<< <i>The Yanks will likely have home field against the Angels should they meet in the playoffs-- and they will handle them then as they handled them last week at home. Perhaps you missed that game. Though maybe they'll hit some bombs...instead of beating them at their own running game (as in our double steal). >>
That's right, you did take the one game series last week. LOL!! Shall we go back to the series before that out here..Hmmmm? when we swept ya? a three game series too!

You can have the ones in September, we'll take the ones in October.

Edit: To be fair these games were nail-biters, and so I'd still rather face the Sox than a team of .300 hitters, even with a Game 7 at Yankee Stadium. I'm more than happy to not see the Angels again until next year. So so strange to have to root for the Sox in the post-season.
<< <i>Did the Yankee B-team just wax the Los Angeles Angeles of, er, was it The California-- no, wait-- the Anaheim, whatever, did the Yanks B-squad just wax these guys in the rubber game IN Anaheim? That makes 3 of the last 4 to the Yanks, including a series win on the road. We beat them with speed on the bases. We beat them with the longball. We beat them with good pitching. How many other ways could we have housed these guys? The present belongs to the Yanks. And if we want to talk past, then it makes logical sense to talk the ENTIRE past, which is not a sports debate that favors the Angels.

Your second paragraph saved the day. Now I don't have to type up a rediculous response to your first paragraph...
