Good start, Bill. I would like it better if the offering were more easily searchable (ie. coins listed in "Redbook order" with misc at the end or buttons to browse for categories or denominations). Perhaps it is organized as such, but I botched it???

A very nice selection of some uber cool coins!

Bill, I would add a "contact us" tab on the home page with a phone, email and mailing addy.

    Best,

    Mr. Shamhart,

Superb site! Very professional appearance, and wide range of offerings.

    Friendly suggestions:

    1. Add a "How to pay" page with specific instructions on how you want to do business, forms of payments accepted, etc.
    2. Add an online shopping cart. Paypal offers this service, and it's cheap and easy to implement. You get a payment, and shipping invoice. Ship it out, and you are done - providing it doesn't get lost in transit, and the customer is happy with the transaction.
    3. Post your Guarantee - if any in a promanent place. This is the first thing I look for. I like to have at least a 7-day return option as a customer, although I have never returned anything, ever.

That's all I can think of right off hand, but your site is already very attractive and pretty easy to navigate, etc. Great job!

I don't think the photos are too bad at all. Many people prefer high resolution photos, like the PCGS Tru-Views which I can understand if you are making a high dollar coin investment. High resolution photos certainly reveal flaws that aren't visable in lower resolutions. But, having a sound return policy also helps me when making purchases.

If you want to hire an outstanding coin photographer, this guy is top notch! BluCC Photograhy

Great site, easy to navigate, and beautiful offerings. The pics. look good except for the 1879-S toned Morgan, which looks a little washed out, (unless that's what it actually looks like it hand?).

Absolutely a very user friendly web site. Quite stylish and pleasing. I would be very proud of such a site. I think the photos are fine for the most part. A couple of the photos could be replaced, but I do not think the photographer should be replaced. Again, very nice.

    This is an old thread.

Trying to see what new coins Bill might have.

His website is down. Anyone seen or talked with him recently?

    Hope all is well.

He used to have nice coins. Any way to see whether he had inventory now?

  • cardinalcardinal Posts: 2,005 ✭✭✭✭✭

The latest that I had seen his site (before it went down), I noticed that numerous coins and medals listed there were also listed by Sarasota Rare Coin Gallery. Maybe Bill made a deal with that dealer when he decided to take some time off?
