How do you remove sticky residue from PSA review "stickers"?

When you send in a card for PSA review and it is not granted a "bump", PSA will often affix a sticker on the holder stating the reason for why the upgrade was denied. When trying to remove the sticker, one finds that stuff is really sticky and leaves plenty of residue on the card. Does anyone know how to remove it?

I tried using an Orange-Sol type of product on my 1948 Leaf Pete Pihos RC and it only made matters worse. I may have to get it reholdered!

A product called Goo-Gone. It is vailable in many different stores now. if you have troubles fining it, try a craft store.

I have found that WD-40 and a soft rag works very well for me.

Peanutbutter (chunky or smooth), cooking oil


Those other things do too, but you have to go out in the garage or cellar to find em.

I made a thread about this awhile ago asking PSA to stop doing this, it is a pita! Goo Gone does the trick though.

I used WD-40 because that's what I had in my garage. It worked terrificly on all my affected cards so thank you for the suggestions. It sure was a strange way to spend an hour in the garage.
