Problem adding coins to set

Today at the ANA Money show, I bought a PCGS Certified 3CN (1873 Closed 3). When I verified the cert number, it comes back to the coin I am holding in my hands. (at least one with the same grade and CAM designation). However, when I attempt to add this coin to my registry set, I get the message that the coin does not exist in their list of certified coins. Why would I get this error? Any hints/ideas would be most appreciated.

Thanks. image

The Registry database runs on a different database from the verification databse. E-Mail the setregistry@collectors.com address and let them know the certificate number you are trying to add and they will get it fixed for you in a couple of days.

  • I had this problem: 1 coin not in their database and several others still registered in someone else's set. An email and a fax of the coins (showing I really had them, not the other person); and Gayle had the whole thing fixed in a couple hours.

This has been a problem for quite some time. You would think they would have this fixed by now.

I forgot to mention that a call to Gayle will fix you up quickly. She is a PCGS allstar.
