    Lame statement! Come on, do you really believe USC is not a top 100 team because of that loss. I guarantee the other top teams will get a loss this year that was unexpected....That's college football.

    I'm not a USC fan....USC for the last so many years gets one stupid loss and beats everyone else on their schedule...Plus they have handled all of the ranked teams they schedule. Maybe the Huskies will finish strong this year and be a stronger team than many thought they were before they beat SC.

    For the PAC-10 lovers that said LSU looked overrated after we beat Washington in week 1, how does that victory look now?

    Definitely wouldn't say LSU was overrated after they beat Washington....Maybe that could help you guys later in the year if Washington and USC finish strong?

    It would be a big surprise to me...Everything I hear and read from Pete Carrol seems like he's got the perfect situation at SC, plus he truly loves it where he lives. It really seems that Pete is sincere about his friendships he has with his fellow ex-coaches when I hear his interviews.

    To achieve success in sports or business you have to hire and surround yourself with people with equal/similar or better talents than you have. Coach's like Carrol know they have their coaches for only so long.

    Pete is probably the best thing that has happened to the USC Football program since John McKay- don't mean to slide John Robinson

    Speaking as a UCLA fan (born and raised to hate USC) I don't think Pete Carroll is leaving U$C. That's a kush job he has right now. If I was a football coach I would want his job! He probably lives at the beach, is a rock star down there, and has done ok recruiting! He ain't going anywhere... but I wish he would because I hate USC being so much better than UCLA.

    I cannot imagine him leaving USC. He didn't exactly shine the last time he was in the NFL and he can't do much better in college. I still wonder how many times Spurrier punches himself in the face for leaving Florida.

    Spurrier declined the Florida job before they offered it to Urban Meyer. Florida offended Spurrier by asking him to send his resume
    if he wanted the job. Spurrier said to the AD that his trophy case is his resume. Thus Spurrier went to South Carolina.
