WOW, those cards look awesome - great job
  • They look really nice, although I have a question. How sure are you that the process you used to make these custom cut cards will not damage the paper that the cut signatures are on?

Although I played a big part in the design, I did not create the cards...i contracted someone else to do them for me. (200lbhockeyplayer on freedomcardboard.com).
Although the cuts will never be removed from the cards, so that really doesn't matter, but as to answer your question, this is an excerpt from the creator
"sub window design like the Cobb (no adhesive will be on the signature back, allowing it to be removed at any point in the future by taking it apart)."

Comment on the quad. Do you really want something like that made with a slugging percentage for Pujols that will not be his career ending value?

I will steal my own response from another message board...

..there are TONS of cards out there that show career stats where the career is not over.
I agree with what you are saying but I am not going to wait 20 years...and I wanted a quad sluggers card with Pujols on it. I thought of leaving the numbers off all together, but i like seeing the comparison numbers. I will always be able to appreciate the card, but thanks for your thoughts...all of which I thought about prior to having the card designed.

How did you acquire the authenticated patches and sigs? Did you remove them from inserts? If so and you intend to sell them at some point, hope you took scans of the orginial cards to show they are indeed authentic. Or I guess you could send the sigs in to PSA, though I seriously doubt they could authenticate patches..
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
