Membership renewal question

My Gold membership is up for renewal.

If I understand this correctly, a silver membership for $49 gives me everything a gold membership does except the SMR magazine and the 6 free submissions. The gold membership renewal is $100.

I only submit a couple times a year so I can wait for specials. So, if I submit 6 cards under say a $5/card special that's $30. Now the savings is down to $20.

So, then its really $20 for the printed magazine, which does include some interesting articles that the on line SMR doesn't have.

I know this is probably simple math but I can't help feeling like I'm missing something.

Not big dollars I know but any thoughts are welcome!

well, usually the specials are only for cards with 1oo buck max as a declared value....

when u renew u get 500 max declared value., so that helps.,

the magazie is handy but doesn't change much and doesn' list alot..

I like it but could do with out it.....

If you have some cards btw 100-500 declared value this is when it becomes good...

    peace!

  • Can you still submit with a silver membership? I can't remember what I had the first couple years, but I never recieved the free submission bundle or access to the submission form page til I won a membership from an stown goodwill for humanity drive.
