How can you tell when a card was graded?

I recently bought a beautiful '57 Clemente in a PSA 8 holder from Felicia. She had said that she got it on Ebay, is there a way for me to find out when the card was slabbed? I was thinking that it looked nice enough to try for an 8.5. I have a scan of it on my registry but I'm on my laptop and my scanner is on my PC so sorry for not adding a picture here.

Also, would you recommend cracking the 8?

Resubmitting it in it's current slab?

Doing nothing, and just being happy that I have it in an 8?

Top right corner + centering = 8

I was thinking the corners looked a little soggy for an 8. Sorry, it's just what I was thinking.

# grade below the letter grade = Recent grading, since half grades began

# grade on same line as letter grade = pre .5 grading, more likely to bump

That Clemente card above is a newer grade.

I took a chance on a nicely centered PSA 5 for about $40 from an ebayer with no feedback and a scan taken with a polaroid camera. It's now sitting in my "best of" card container. Awesome card. You can't go wrong with that card IMO.
