The second edition of the Authoritative Reference on Lincoln Cents
should be going to print the second week of Oct and be ready right
before Thanksgiving.
Summation of changes
The first edition of this book was published in 1996. This was John Wexler and Kevin Flynn's first book together and Flynn's first Authoritative Reference type book. The first edition was an immediate success and quickly sold out. In January of 2009, Flynn completed a book on the Lincoln Cent Matte Proofs. For this second edition of this book, Wexler has completely overhauled the doubled die, RPM, and OMM sections of this book with new pictures, information, and new die varieties. Flynn added many new archive documents, many of which have been previously unpublished. This greatly helped update the history section of the book. Flynn also updated some of the interesting hot topics and Lincoln cent stories and added a few new ones to the center of the book. A few experts in the Lincoln cent series added their expertise in the collecting and investing aspect of Lincoln cents.
We are doing the final updates now, it should be approximately 475 pages.
We are printing both hardcovers and softcovers.
Retail will be
Hardcover $100 (we are only printing about 60)
Softcover $44.95
Shipping is $5 for book rate, $10 for priority.
Prepublication will be available till the book goes to print in mid October
