Just curious, is this closing price representative for this type/period/condition or was this one on the high end?

Apologies for the ignorant question, but I don't collect medals and a cursory Internet search didn't turn up anything comparable. The design caught my eye, but the condition didn't appear to be spectacular so I abandoned bidding before close (again, I don't collect medals so I might be off base).

The price looks about right based on what I'm seeing.
I think medals are a wonderful collecting area considering the historical aspects, the antiquity, the relative rarity and the price. I generally try to stick in the $35 to $200 range.
I have a few beautifully toned ones that have a prominent place in my collection.
It's just that I got my PCGS grades.
