Yo Adrian...

It is a PLEASURE to have this freak on my favorite team. Bleeding like a buck that was stuck with an arrow, gushing down his arm...... Puts up 3 tds and one of the BEST runs I have ever seen in the 4th Quarter to seal the deal...

Stay mean A.D.

As a Vikings fan, I'd like to thank the 6 other teams that passed him up in the draft.

As I remember it was due to his injury proneness in college but all the analysts said his upside was much higher than anyone else in the draft. Guy is a stud and very very tough.

He completely 'abused' four or five defensive players on that run....UNREAL.

The heart of a Champion, no doubt.

If they want to win this year the Vikes had better keep the same formula, depending of Favre and those WR's to win games will get them beat.

  • Wrong, we have solid Wr's. sit back and watch, it is tough to make names like Rice, Berrian, Shiancoe, household names with the guys we have had at QB. Ohg yeah, Harvin is the next big thing too... Enjoy the season !

AD is really fun to watch.. I got to meet him and get his auto back in 2007 and I've been a big collector and fan of his ever since. He never ceases to amaze me with his strength and skill.

You also got Brad Childress.....nuff said.....

Vikes won't go far and if Petersen gets hurt they are done....unless Chester Taylor can be that good (which wouldn't be bad as my #4 RB in FF).

  • Aconte....Chester Taylor could start on this team, and any other team. Please, you obviously do not WATCH Vikings games. Your just another person that watches espn and their tainted views.

Vikes are VERY deep at RB.

Childress has improved the Vikings record every season. There are alot of coaches worse than him. I'm ok with the coach myself. haven't always been, but he is making the right moves.

    Tony,

The optimism leading into the start of a season hasn't been this big since 1999. It is the deepest team that I can remember at nearly all positions. I think you have a good insurance policy in Taylor on your FF team. Anything less than a NFC championship showing would be a disappointment -- and I'm usually very pesssimistic. Fortunately their scheulde is easiest in the beginning, allowing for Favre to break in a bit easier given his limited time on the team.

Chilly has slowly been warming on me. He has adjusted his demeanor through being humbled in the local & national media. He's gone if this season is a dud, but man, with Favre, it will be great entertainment.

    SKOL!
    Enjoy your collection!

    Erik,

I hope you guys have a good season....coming one game shy with the Eagles going to the SB.image
We had Childress for years and I didn't think much of him. We'll see how long Favre can go.

    Dabeef,

You are correct. The last Vikes game I watched was last year's playoff home game. How did that turn out.....haha?

Childress is not a good coach. Trust me.

  • The fact that we MADE the playoffs with the Qb's we had on the roster was a shock, I didnt expect anything in the playoffs.

<< <i>I agree it is a funny commercial. As for Favre in Game 1, he did an absolutely phenomenal job of handing the ball off to Adrian Petersen. >>

When the team sucked for 30 minutes, Favre was incredible picking the entire team up and placing them on Adrian Peterson's shoulders.
