<< <i>How hard do you think PSA will hammer the centering on the back? >>
At this condition it should not matter at all. I'd guess it grades a "5", but the centering is REALLY NICE, which gives it great eye appeal! GOOD LUCK!
STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
edit to add.. maybe lower.. looks like surface wear seen on nolans cap >>
That is my other concern but it is very hard to see with the naked eye and comes up with the 400 dpi scan. I took this one over the other at a slight premium because you could not see the scuffing on Ryan to the naked eye. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.
<< <i>Possibly trimmed on left side. Hopefully not, but scuffing is usually a 4-5.
Nice eye appeal. >>
You think? That does scare me a bunch. That would be my worst nightmare on this card. Anything in particular that makes you say that? Seller did give a personal guarantee that he would refund my money if it came back altered. Hopefully it does not and hopefully if it does he honors that!
<< <i>Notice the notching on the side and waves. Might just be my eyes.[/q
Thanks. I really don't see it but I am just learning about how to look for stuff like trimming, coloring, etc. I have been burned twice on high $ cards. One was a 1956 Mantle and the other was a Randy Moss SPX Finite rookie. Both came back as altered from Beckett.
Well looks like the range is anywhere from 4-6 with 5 being the consensus with the EOT posibility. Maybe I will get an 8 LOL!
I do wonder if I had only shared the smaller scan what folks would have thought! I will update the board when I get it and have it graded. I will have to join PSA for this as I have always sent my cards into BGS/BVG but think I want PSA for this.
Well whatever the grade ends up I will never know. The seller changed his mind and backed out of the transaction over the weekend. At least he refunded my money quickly so I guess I really can't complain too much.

<< <i>The centering on the back looks fine for PSA 8 down. >>
Interesting and great to know. That was my main worry.
<< <i>Possibly trimmed on left side. >>
I was thinking the same thing.
<< <i>My first thought was 5.5

<< <i>Looks like one of those cards that is not going to grade well but is well centered and should be well appreciated be a Ryan fan. >>
I would actually be okay with that. Centering and eye appeal has always been most important to me.
