Bernie Kosar at a show

Now everyone won't be all excited about this but if you were a Browns fan in the 80's Bernie was awesome. I just heard he will be signing at a show next month in Canton Ohio, which from my recollection is the first time he ever has signed in the area. The show is promoted by Jane Bosley who is a class act as far as shows go. I used to do her show every month until my kids started taking up all my free time. I do know the address where the show will be:
Courtyard Marriott Belden Village
4375 Metro Circle NW - Canton, Ohio 44720

The hotel is by the Belden Village Mall. Those from the northern Ohio area are probably familiar with it. The mall is also located a matter of minutes from the football hall of fame so you could make it a double trip....

Cleveland Plain Dealer has ad that show will be on November 1st. Also if anyone interested Rocky Bleir is there this month on the 20th.

Bernie needs money, that's why he is finally doing a show.

Is anyone going? I would like to get his 1987 Topps UK Mini Football signed. Please let me know.

Interested to see if he sits with his right foot behind his left foot. You could recognize Kosar immediately by his pre-snap stance.

Bernie's been announcing the Browns preseason games....he's not the greatest of announcers but the thing I like about him is his honesty...if a player or play stinks he says so, no sugar coating for the home team. also here is the website for the promoter of the show: www.landofboz.com

Thanks for the heads up! Jane Bosley's show is my "local show" that I try to attend every month. I live in the Canton/Massillon area, so it's right in my back yard. Good to see her get Kosar! Jane's shows are very nice for being a monthly show, admission is cheap, and the regular dealers are great people. Good times!

I've gone to that show on and off for years...nice way to spend a couple of hours.

Bernie is a good guy. He was my favorite player from the U's 1983 National Championship team. Plus he played for the Cowboys!

I don't know if anyone remembers but he had a greeting card line in the 90's that featured NFL players. Really nice looking photos.

I'll scan a few that I have later on tonight.

I've been to that show a few times, its not bad. Jane gets some quality autograph guests for reasonable prices, usually HOFers in the $20-30 range. And they don't mind chatting with you a little bit. I'll be there for the Bernie signing, schedule permitting.

Kosar greeting cards, now I've seen everything....hopefully it wasn't one of the business ventures he got involved with that helped him to the poor house...along with his divorce of course.
  • Did I miss Bernie's autograph? image

Please give the heds up next time so we can make arrangements!

Anybody here lucky enough to get his auto? Scans would be great image
