You know with the dollar at such low levels I am kind of disappointed that precious metals aren't substantially higher than they currently are.
Yes, the dollar is being quite resistant to leaving the party. There have been many calls for bottoming over the past month. None have yet held. While gold should be doing better with the current dollar weakness one can only surmise the amount of behind the scenes action by the FED and Treasury to manage both. Another way to look at it is that when it hit 0.71 last time gold reached $1033. We're nowhere near that dollar level yet and gold is getting closer to $1033. It will probably be in the later fall per JS when the dollar commences its tumble.
