.......and you'll get grief again if you bump your thread more than once a day. Please read the blurb at the top of the page.

<< <i>This is truly sad. The coins were created to give money to charity. Now someone is trying to profit from it. >>
Micheal Moore must be right when he says Capitalism is evil...God Bless Capitalism is what I say!!!!
If I am not mistaken, when you first started placing buy offers for these coins on this BST board many years ago (and bought some?), I seem to recall you were trying to do something "non-profit" with them at that point. Do I recall that correctly? Assuming I do recall that correctly (and knowing that things change over time), why not simply take back your actual cost on the coins and have the new buyers donate the surplus they are paying directly to the same charity we gave all the money to in the first place? This would get you back your cost in full on the coins you sell and keep the pure charitable nature of the coins continuing (hopefully in perpetuity).
Thanks for listening.

still i'm really just selling them for my investment plus the costs .
and I really would have like to do something else with them.
but I'm not in a postition to do antthing else right now.
if I could sell them all at once I could work with the price.

Rob: I understand - if you let me know your investment cost for each specific coin, perhaps I can locate some people interested in buying them up and taking you out of the pieces. I know, for example, that Oreville is working very hard at putting together a tribute of sorts in NYC for these coins - a key component to the beauty of these special 100 coins is that no one (to my knowledge) made one penny on these coins - all money generated from these coins went to the widows and orphans of the deceased firefighters. To the extent we can return your costs and place these coins in the hands of new collectors with the same mutual interests, the extreme goodwill associated with these coins will flourish. Let me know via PM what we might be able to do to take you out of your position. Feel free to PM Oreville as well as I know he is extremely interested in trying to work something out with you as well.

I have acquired all 13 of these very special slabs.
These slabs are safe now.
I will not re-sell them except for charity.
